Rolfing®: Structural Integration Toward the Whole Human Being

Rolfing® is an original and scientifically validated system of body restructuring and movement education. It releases the body’s segments – legs, torso, arms, etc. – from life-long patterns of tension and bracing, thereby permitting gravity to realign them. By doing so, it balances the body.

About Me

I am a graduate of the Rolf Institute in Boulder, CO. Only graduates of the Institute are legally allowed to use the trademarked designation Rolfer®. Our training consists of 764 hours of classroom study, plus additional supervised hands-on work. I was certified in Skillful Touch in 2002 and Rolfing® in early 2003.

Since accreditation, I have acquired the certification of an Advanced Rolfer® and Rolf Movement Practitioner.

I have taken 84 hours of advanced study with Dr. Liz Gaggini in hip, neck, shoulder girdle, and arm/leg realignment, as well as visceral work.

Since April, 2003, I have also been practicing the occasional four-handed Rolfing® with Dr. Victor Geberin, an original student of Ida Rolf.

Finally, I have been a student of Yoga since the 1960s. My current practice is a blend of Astanga and Iyengar methods. I use various yoga postures as homework for my clients.
